FealGood Foundation

Yesterday, I was honored to join John Feal at a fundraising event for the FealGood Foundation, which assists and advocates for injured first responders. The Foundation has done so much to help those who help others, especially in its advocacy for first responders suffering from 9/11 related injuries.

On behalf of the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, I gave John a proclamation to acknowledge his great work with his organization. John was a first responder on September 11th, where he unfortunately suffered an injury while doing his duty to protect us. After compensation for his injury was denied, John became an advocate for first responders and has been fighting for them ever since.

Thank you John for all of your work. You are a hero for all of us.
