Honoring Our Fallen Heroes

Unfortunately, many of us have lost people we love to COVID-19. Here in Suffolk County, we tragically lost Inv. Sgt. Keith Allison, who passed away in December after a battle with covid.
Yesterday, I was joined by members of Inv. Sgt. Allison’s family, Sheriff Errol Toulon, Lou Viscusi, President of the Corrections Union, John Becker, President of the Deputy Sheriffs PBA, and members of the End of Watch Ride to Remember Caravan to honor his memory and other members of law enforcement who died in service over the past year.
The End of Watch Ride to Remember is a group of motorcycle riders from Washington State, escorting a trailer across the country to honor officers who passed away while serving over the past year. Yesterday they stopped at the Riverhead Correctional Facility to meet Inv. Sgt. Allison’s family and honor his memory. It was a great tribute, and I want to thank them for coming to Suffolk County and for their support of law enforcement.
Inv. Sgt. Allen was a hero and may we all remember him.
